This is a fascinating activity that one can engage in while putting up at Rameswaram. The boat service is organized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. You will have to catch a bus from Rameswaram for the Pamban Bridge. Almost halfway to the bridge, you can catch an auto to the boat center.
The boat rides have fixed rates and no bargaining is possible. The glass bottom boats allow you to enjoy the exotic sights of coral reefs near Rameswaram. Be sure to carry an umbrella on a good sunny day and the best time to do this boating is between 1.00- 3.00 in the afternoon.
